Five Bagatelles: III. Carol - Gerald Finzi
Clarinet: Robert Plane Conductor: Howard Griffiths Orchestra: Northern Sinfonia
This was the first ever Clarinet piece I played in a school concert! I'll always have this special connection with this piece :)

Gerald Finzi-Fughetta from Five Bagatelles
Five Bagatelles: V. Fughetta - Gerald Finzi
Clarinet: Robert Plane Conductor: Howard Griffiths Orchestra: Northern Sinfonia
Such a typically British countryside piece of music - it makes me SO PROUD TO BE BRITISH!! I absolutely adore Robert Plane's Clarinet playing - everything he plays is so clean and pristine and fresh! Technical perfection. He also just captures the Britishness that oozes out from this piece. I love the Northern Sinfonia as an accompaniment, and under the baton of Howard Griffiths, Finzi's work is in good hands.
