The E.P.F. is looking for any information on the known whereabouts of a fugitive android (a.k.a. Fugitoid). Please spread the word and be on the lookout for this mechanical menace.
My wife made me this amazing card for Valentine’s Day 💚
Especially when it feels like no one else does... believe in yourself. 💚
A moment over 40 years in the making! In 1984 Eastman & Laird illustrated Fugitoid wearing ninja gear and wielding a kyoketsu-shoge. Peter posted the drawing on his blog back in 2008 saying, “Looking at this again makes me think it could have been a lot of fun to do something like this in the comics.”
I wanted to finally make that happen in “Fugitoid Frenzy,” but it was important to me that it feel earned. At this point in the story, Honeycutt has faced defeat, regained his confidence and is embracing his new identity - he has become The Fugitoid.
The full arc is available now in Tales of the TMNT issues 4,5 and 6! Check your local comic shop and be on the lookout for the trade paperback with all three issues in September (available for preorder now).
Well, we’ve made it to another Fugitoid Friday. This was a tough week for TMNT w/ the announcement of Tales being cancelled.
The work that Chris Yost, Alan Wan and the entire crew did was fantastic and I’m very sad to see it cut short.
It’s disappointing, but you never know what the future may hold and I’m hopeful that Tales will find new life at some point.
We are still hard at work on the sequel to Mutant Mayhem and it’s shaping up to be a pretty incredible project.
Until then, if you’re a fan of this iteration of the turtles and want to keep supporting it - please watch season 2 of Tales when it drops, go see Chrome Alone 2 - Lost in New Jersey ahead of SpongeBob: The Search for SquarePants in December, pick up our Tales of the TMNT comics from IDW (which will continue!!!) and keep buying the toys!
I hate to sound like a salesperson but at the end of the day those merchandise sales make a huge impact on allowing us to continue telling these stories. We really appreciate it.
Much love to you all and cowabunga.
Happy Fugitoid Friday! One benefit of being stuck in a robot body is you can’t smell the gross trash in your dumpster hideout. Zayton’s at a low point here, feeling like he’s trash himself and deserves this fate. But that’s about to change.
Issue 5 hits shelves next week!
It's the final Fugitoid Friday before Tales of the TMNT #4! I started working on this story well over a year ago and couldn't be more excited to see it finally hit the shelves. Thank you to everyone who's been supporting me along the way. I sincerely hope you enjoy it. Cowabunga!
