This Season's Gems
With an ever-increasing roster of food blogs on my bloglovin' feed, I find myself lazily liking half the recipes that spring up every instant on bloglovin', tumblr, instagram, just as our mothers might have clipped recipes onto index cards to try later. (Except our mothers surely never faced such an onslaught of readily-available dinner inspiration.) In a restless hour, I'll curate my latest finds into pinterest boards. Even so, the multitude of what's out there is exciting, often breathtakingly beautiful, but bewildering, and at times I feel like I'm standing amid falling leaves, unable to collect them all.
I had never thought I would do a "link love" post: it is hard to choose a few links to highlight in a forest of wonder. I feel badly for all the posts I don't get to mention. Still, I always enjoy reading other bloggers' handpicked links, which, as much as their writing, give me a glimpse into their interests and preferences. At the very least, these link collections are a snapshot of what has drifted through my mind lately, and maybe in time I'll look back upon them like pot-pourri or dried flowers pressings made from what I've gathered in the wild.
