2 & 6 for ben & danny !!!
〚 @fujicka『 ship meme ! 』〛
2. what sort of things does your muse look for in a partner?
Danny needs someone who he can trust and who makes him feel like he’s not a freak of nature. Someone who accepts Danny for who he is, and probably someone who knows what it’s like to feel like an outsider all the time.
He needs someone to recognize how focused he is on achieving his dreams and will fully support him in his pursuit. He needs someone who has dreams of their own, and who is also driven. Someone who Danny can look at and be inspired and motivated to keep working hard, but also someone who can look at Danny and tell him when he needs to go easier on himself.
Ben needs to meet his match. He’s looking for someone who will both indulge him and his big ego, but also humble him when he needs it ( which is like, a lot ) and call him out on his shit.
He’s looking for someone cute and quick witted with high energy and confidence. He needs someone to remind him that he doesn’t need to be everyone’s hero all the time, and that it’s okay to let other people save the day every once in a while.
6. has your muse dated before? if so, how long did those relationships usually last?
This is SUPER verse dependent for both Danny and Ben.
In their main verses I usually write them as if they each had their “endgame” ships for a a while post-canon, but they ended up not working out for one reason or another. That usually gives them some baggage that can come in handy for rp threads.
I think Julie and Ben would have dated for a few years and eventually Julie goes off to be a tennis star or start some amazing non-profit and Ben let’s her go because he doesn’t want to hold her back, or she breaks up with him because of his selfishness ( again, depends on the verse/thread/what dynamic I want to go for ). Ben dates around after breaking up with Julie, but doesn’t dive into anything too serious too quickly.
Sam and Danny would probably date through high school until things get complicated when Danny goes to college. He gets busy and distant and he and Sam seamlessly go back to being friends. Danny wants Sam to find someone she’d be better off with, and doesn’t go actively looking for a new romantic relationship. At least not until he feels like he has better control over his own life.
