His partner might think he's malfunctioned. He's always been a sturdy and silent guy but there is a blankness in his expression that concerns his partner.

He is thousands of miles away in his consciousness and his partner has to bring him back to the present

His reaction isn't over the top and despite all the turbulence inside, he smiles at his partner and holds them close, reveling in the joy with them.

If they're nervous or showing any fear about being with children, he packs his feelings away neatly and reassures them that everything will be okay

When he shares the news with his family, they all have the same worries as he does except for Shirahoshi.

She bursts into tears at the news and is the first to bring the prospective of their mother. How proud she would be that a royal member of the family is closing the inequality gap with the person he loves

This revelation brings him to a new understanding and even to tears.

There are political issues that still is up in the air but he's not just a prince. The joy he feels with his partner is more than he can express.

He was the one that helped raise his siblings so two children on the way doesn't intimidate him too much.

He knows this can be a new leaf for their people. Despite his reservations, his children will be loved and respected if he has anything to say about it.

Could I please have some fukaboshi with a fem human s/o relationship headcannons ?

This will have to be after the Strawhats have been to Fishman Island.And this was pretty difficult, not gonna lie.

Definitely likes someone who’s smart, so having an intellectual conversation happens a lot. Like, seriously.

If she isn’t able to swim, he’d happily teach her. And thus, beach/swimming dates were born!

Not much for PDA, especially in public. But in private, likes to hold hands. Also likes it when she holds onto his arm. Makes him feel like a gentleman.

Definitely caring and kind. Cold? Here’s a blanket/puts her in his arms. Sick? I’ll take care of you until you get better! (Making trying them soup, are comfortable, etc.)

If she has an interest/hobby he doesn’t really know of, you can bet your hide he’ll do his research and even ask her questions about it/them.

Loves early morning cuddles and conversations that last really late into the night, even if it’s silly and the topic changes every five minutes.

Not much of a cuddler, unless he’s incredibly tired. Or sick, which should probably worry her if he’s ill. He also becomes a bit of a whiny baby whenever he somehow manages to get sick.
