💪(fulgurantfirstborn): "So another God of Thunder has come to this realm?" Playful sparks crackled between his fingers. "Let us see whose lightning will strike first!"

Raiden’s mouth twitches, a smile threatening to emerge. 

“It has been a fair while since I’ve faced another god, and one who wields the same element as I.” 

Sparks of lightning crackled around his hands, up his arms. With a single thought, his staff materialized from hissing bolts of cerulean energy: “Show me what you can do, you need not to hold back!”

“I am but one of the few that serves you, my lord.”

Leeroy cast his gaze up only slightly, though bowed his head again: “Ages ago I once was a part of the Way of White, but I had left them long before.” However, he chose to leave out the part that he at one time served the Dark Sun Gwyndolin.

For after all, he had been quite the sadistic Darkmoon Blade: killing every sinner he had been sent after in rather gruesome ways that he, in all honesty, enjoyed.

“My name is Leeroy, Paladin Leeroy as some might have called me.”

“I am only washing up from practice. You can tell your story.”

“As you wish.”

The abysswalker thought on the story for a moment; recalling the finer details of it. Soon it was slightly clearer.

“It was a couple years back, some unknown cultists had started to appear. As you’d think who better to send out than Artorias? So I was called, briefed and set on my merry way per-usual. It wasn’t long I got out of the bounds of the kingdom when I decided to set down for the eve’; that was my first mistake.

Soon night fell and I was about to drift off to sleep, when I was ambushed by at least 6 of them. Of course me sitting in only my leggings wondered what to do, I picked up my sword and shield deciding to go for them at full haste. It wasn’t long into the battle, when I felt something sharp run the full length of my back.

Painful to say the least; but they didn’t last long after that.”

His hand was brought up behind his head as he chuckled lightly.

“Sure, what’s being a knight worth without a couple scars.”

“Very impressive, but can you match this, Lord Gwynfor?” 

Raiden’s bright eyes followed Gwynfor, unfazed by the shower of lightning even if it was not his own familiar blue. As soon as the other deity took to the air, a smile, however slight, curled the corners of his mouth: in a brief flash of cerulean light, he disappeared as well, just as Gwynfor leapt at him from above, reappearing in a similar wisp of light at nearly matching height in the air. 

Gwynfor’s might in commanding the storm was on par with his own, that much was evident in their playful little comparison of their might - 

With a twist of his body, lightning crackling off of his form, Raiden landed with a stomp: blue bolts of energy and lightning exploding out from beneath his boot.
