Celestial Screenshots Destined for Fame, Part 6:
Sam Rockwell
All of the information used in this article was taken from his Wiki page/biography. I am a student of astrology and thus all that I have learned in that course deserves the instructor’s credit, along with all the astrologers before him from Vettius Valens to the translators of ancient texts. I thank you for passing on this knowledge and am grateful to receive it. To protect his privacy and name (because what if I’m completely butchering these concepts, lmao) I will keep it to myself. I believe in the importance of giving credit where it is due and thus that is my intention here. I also believe in the right to privacy and thus that is my secondary intention.
🎬 I am currently watching Richard Jewell. I have always been a fan of Mr. Rockwell’s characters and the movies he has been in. (Jon Hamm is also in this movie, a St. Louis native— this has been a theme the last two days, idk, keeps popping up.)
🎭 Tenth house ruler opposing the SUN, of course. I swear I want to find a celeb chart where the Sun is not in connection with the tenth/MC.
🌕Full Moon baby with Lots Spirit+Fortune in the seventh. He met his partner Leslie Bibb (The Skulls is how I will always remember her) on the set of Frost/Nixon. Another example of how this placement plays out with somehow mixing work and love, whether it be meeting via work or owning a business together.
🏆 The Moon is exalted in Taurus, of the sect in favor and has no direct connection with Saturn, which is good. This foretells of good fortune in regards to career.
🎨 I like him because he has a Virgo Mars always plays slightly eccentric but intelligent characters. Uranus+Mercury in the first with Venus Sag as the chart ruler really explains like all of his characters: savage, dgaf but reasonable, fair and intelligent.
🏵️ His chart ruler is opposing Lilith which would explain why he always kinda plays the villain with a good heart.
⛽️ The Aries degree on the Sun opposing the tenth house ruler also explains a lot. Is it just me or are his characters sort of impulsive? Idk.
🌵What I’m trying to say, is he is authentic. He is the opposite of that BS the FBI agents try pulling on Richard Jewell in the movie when they bring him in for a “training video”. This pseudo-kindness dripped with condescension is absolutely repulsive and yet another reason I have such an affinity for Aries. [Also Jon Hamm really does play a jerk well, does he not?)
✋🏻My personal opinion on his characters from the movies I have seen him in and the vibes/patterns I picked up from the characters. I imagine others will have differing opinions.
⛴️Another interesting thing this chart has is “domination” upon the chart ruler Venus to which Venus is applying to a direct square with Mars+Jupiter.
🗼Mars is a malefic but it is of the sect in favor and thus more constructive. Jupiter is a benefic but contrary to sect so it is not as helpful as it might otherwise be esp. since it is a night chart and in the twelfth place. However, mitigation exists between Jupiter and Venus which helps this difficult placement.
🗺️ I wonder if when Mars/Jupiter is activated via profection years, if it makes this placement more active and thus the Native’s life more difficult during these times… (2nd, 7th, 3rd, 6th).
🩰 His chart ruler is Venus, which in his night chart is very good; that along with the Venus-Jupiter reception really takes the edge off the domination happening. It would also be worse if it were Saturn applying to it vs Mars, and thus is doing better in this aspect too. He is well-liked, respected and has been in some of my favorite films.
🧠Mercury has its joy @ first as it is like the “brains in charge of the ship” helped in that it is separating from a direct sextile with its ruler Venus.
☝🏻If Venus were earlier in degrees, it would be “hurling a ray” @ Mars+Jupiter to which they would be applying to and thus this would be quite positive. A potential mitigation for a malefic in the twelfth; having it apply to Venus.
