What really gets to me about the MV is that, even though Layla was Megu’s family, perhaps the only thing really around, is the fact that Layla gave hope and fun to Dai as well.
Megu and Layla were what gave Dai hope away from his parents and the school bullies. They made him smile and the three all played together throughout their childhood.
For Dai, he definitely lost another friend...but then this frame here...
It really shows Dai pushing aside his own feelings so he, as well as the rest of Ft4, can be there for Megu, who’s the one suffering the most, having lost the companion who taught him love.
Dai’s a real MVP yall.
