Week One
Our freezer sounds like a dolphin when I open it. It makes me feel like I’m at a well-populated beach. Or Seaworld.
The last time I was really drunk was September 3rd. I know this because I made garlic bread, stuck it in the freezer, got drunk, and forgot about it. Jeremy later found that bread and threw it in a freezer bag. I distinctly remember shouting “Write the date on it! Write the date on it!” as though bread was my top priority. I found the last of it and that memory while I was investigating our dolphin freezer.
I’m very good at following recipes but very bad at making eggs over easy. I’m excellent at making scrambled eggs and spinach. I’ve been eating a lot of eggs for lunch.
It’s weird having zero coworkers. One night Jeremy told me that he’s the janitor at this home equals office setup. The janitor must be on vacation because I took out the trash and recycling this week.
