From the moment she woke up that day, Valerie knew something was wrong with her. Her head was spinning as she got out of bed, black spots dancing in front of her eyes. And was she supposed to feel that warm? Well, she might be sick, but she was a soldier. And she had stuff to do, so she would just have to bear with that damn headache and follow her regular schedule. This included a daily jog, away from the others.

Bad idea. It didn't take long before her whole body was aching, her head was spinning like crazy and her jog was just slowly dragging her feet. She should have gone back and gone to bed... But the girl was stubborn, and to her it was a battle against herself. After thirty minutes, her body had had enough. With a sigh, Valerie fell to the ground and everything became black.
