Fullness of Life
On 2nd – 3rd September 2016, I joined Treasures Women’s Conference 2016 held by Jakarta Praise Community Church. The speakers were Christine Caine, Levi Supit, Angela Rachmat, Kenny Goh, and Lukas Kailimang.
Isaiah 40:31
NLV is the main verse used for this year’s conference.
“But they who wait upon the Lord will get new strength. They will rise up with wings like eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not become weak.”
I will discuss every learning that I got from Treasures Women’s Conference 2016.
Let’s begin from D-1 with first session by Christine Caine:
Deuteronomy 1:1-31
In this chapter explained that God brought us through the long road with purpose of life and promise land. The fact is Israel could reach Promised Land in three days, instead it took 40 years for Israel reached the Promised Land.
We often stuck in our own wilderness for longer time while we can do something for 3 days only. We’ve been in that mountain too long enough that we need to broke those insecurities, such as ashamed, bitterness, jealousy, lust, and comfort zone. God has given us resources to go out and get our freedom.
We have to know, when we become a victim, we let the negativity consume us, and we go around and around the mountain unwilling to find a way out of our wilderness.
God approach us to break the camp of our wilderness, to reach our freedom. We are not only impact by around you because we are bigger than those world. It is painful to pass from wilderness to Promise Land, and there’s process going on.
That process is a pain. Pain in our recovery is making you stronger and forming your character. It is your willingness to embrace the process that will set you free from your wilderness.
Freedom is not a personality, Freedom is not a temperament, and Freedom is a blood type. It is a blood of Jesus Christ that set us free.
We have to break everything that hold us down on that wilderness. We have to make God’s promise is bigger that your pain, your past and your personality. God took a child who lives in wilderness and brought them to Promise Land to have a good life. Live by God’s favor and God’s grace to bring hope to this world.
Fullness of life is not only about you but also other people who waiting for you to bring hope to save theirs life, to bring freedom for them. If you’re not experience the fullness of life, other people won’t be either. Fear, doubt, negativity, grumbling, complaint, all of those will not helping you to break out from the wilderness. It needs effort but in the end it’s worth it. You have to know, there is no bondage that God can’t break.

Leakage in Life
When we don’t have fullness of life, there is so many little holes which leaking in our life and making our life eventually dried. What are the leakages that we need to pay attention?
1. Fear
How many times we often say “I’m afraid or I’m scared of…., or I have fear of…”? Satan always knows when the time to breach our fear, and when it happens, Satan is happy because it winning over joy that God given to us. Be careful! Guard your heart with all vigilance! If we could beat Satan, and protect ourselves from fear, ahead we will become outstanding people.
2. Holes in Our Heart
So many times, we often feel disappointed over small things or people surround us. Without we realize, the leakage in our heart show by our action, and broken heart people hardly have joy as we keep our pain inside.
Proverbs 4:23 NKJV
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
Spring means release, ejected out.
Your mouth is your tiger, your heart is your fountain.
Many of us think that becoming Christian, we won’t easily getting hurt. In fact as women, we are very easily get it and we allow it to contaminate our life.
When our heart is leaking and hurting, then our mind is sick, words that comes out is pain and action is hatred. Keep in mind, the easiest way to kill people is by hurting their heart.
When our heart is full, no holes, no leakage, God will fill our cup on and on, God promise that He will give us plentiful of water not just be filled up but also He patched the leakage so that our life would be abundant in God.
Having abundant life in God, grace and favor will be given to us.
Flower which put in a vas full of water will grow and bloom, it will follow the direction of the overflow water so that the flower can be seen and shining out of our life.

Achieve a fullness of life
How do we get a fullness of life?
How do we maintain a fullness of life?
As we may know, fullness of life and happiness are two different things.
Happiness is not fullness of life, Happiness is not joy.
Fullness of life is:
- Fulfillment
- Fulfilling life
- Fulfilled life
Fulfillment have component of happiness.
Happiness depends on circumstance, condition, happening.
If we would like to be happy, we must ensure our outside and inside life have to be fulfilled as you expected and have to be happened like you want it to be then you’ll find happiness.
How we could keep fulfilled our life? The answer is work, love, and music.
1. Work = Achievements
Achievements can be measured from career, status, money, award, glamour.
2. Love : Relationship
Relationship can be measured how we love ourselves, how we love our family. Relationship is more powerful than achievements.
Mostly, women have strength in relationship and more insecurities on achievements. To be fulfilled in our lives, achievements and relationship must be balance.
3. Others
Achievements: derma, charity, volunteer, investing, social entrepreneurship.
Relationship: community, citizen, mentoring, sisterhood, group.
Fact is, if we only fulfilling ourselves other than thinking of other people, when we serving other people, we’ll feel more fulfilled. Supporting other people is more powerful than live on our own.
When we talk about relationship with ourselves is we accepting ourselves, we are secure, and center. Don’t compare ourselves with others, and only looking how to achieve our goals.
For those who like to have fulfilling life, make sure our cup is full not for our own but also other people.
4. Music
The difference between noise and music is simple. Noise is two sounds not related to each other. Music is the same two sound related to each other.
Do you like to make good and nice music in your life? Or you only want to make noise that doesn’t give any impact to your life.
Music is about connected and relate to one another.
Fulfillment 2.0
God, Work, Love, Music
Put God into our life and we’ll find our fullness of life.
Matthew 5:16 NIV
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
John 13:35 NIV
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Achievement:
- What ministry do you serve on?
- Do you come to church every week?
- Do you read your bible?
Relationship:
- Do you know your GOD?
Because every ministry that we do is no different to other religion, we often get manipulate to be more religious and serve in many ministries however, none of that matter if we don’t have relationship with God.
God is the center, because he first loved us then we are saved by Him.
Love is a person! God is love!
Because of His love lives inside us, we can achieve and relate not only for own sake but also others.
Mark 12: 30-31 NIV
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.
