one of my all time favorites facts is how if you want to eat some ants, you can pretty easily obtain some and do it.

what you do is you get a pot full of water and a stick, and go find an antbed. and just stab the stick into the antbed until it’s all swarming with ants, and then dunk the ant-stick in the pot of water so they all drown (quickly so they don’t have time to crawl up the stick towards your hand). and just keep doing this for a while until you have a pot full of dead ants. and then you boil the ant-water to get rid of germs and make sure they’re all dead, and then they’re ready to eat! you can make them into a soup, or strain them and dip them in chocolate or put them in a stir fry or something. and you can just eat them and it’s totally fine and allowed. i think that’s so neat.
