In my story it's set in my home city in the present day. Drow live in the sewers and large parts of their economy is just selling drugs to humans (who don't know the magical world exists).

Are these magical drugs or regular drugs?

They end up as a zombie kind of like Aegis, except not able to fly and it's more that they continue to live unless every part of them is obliterated (they'll grow back from a finger tip if needed and given enough time). They have a mover rating by simply throwing themselves one body part at a time where they need to be and just leave whatever is left behind.

I don't mind him being gay (I'm gay myself) but with the way most characters seemed disgusted by bisexuality in the movie it seemed like it should have gone that way. I don't know, it seemed like a missed opportunity. I just honestly don't know how anyone who knows anything about queer culture could have read that script and gone "yeah that's perfect, go ahead"

WHO seemed disgusted by bisexuality??? his friend was kind of a dumbass about it but he was consistently a dumbass throughout the film, so we’re clearly not meant to take him seriously. maybe i’ve forgotten (it has been a couple of days since i saw the movie), but i think that was the most negative anyone acted about bisexuality in the movie, and it wasn’t even that bad.

and having a coming out story about a bi teenager would be great, but this was not that story. the whole plot was set in motion by alex not wanting to have sex with his girlfriend, boy was obviously not into women. it’s not a missed opportunity when it goes against the core of the story.
