The dinner scene in joowons apt was so horny. Like if dongsik wasn't in one of the deepest depressions of his life he would have played along

nonny you are absolutely correct. bc if it's one thing we know about juwon, he tries to control his life by carefully framing all his interactions (how he looks, how he speaks, his various physical and emotional boundaries).

"good that you came by bc i made too much food"/"let's be spontaneous and open some wine" yeah right. this from the guy who plans his sneezes in advance.

that cooking scene with the unsetting classical Ravel playing in the background is as hannibalesque as it gets. juwon spent hours picking that bottle of wine. he had neurotic one-sided conversations with imaginary dongsik in the shower. he stood in the personal hygiene aisle of the pharmacy and agonized over which brand of lube and condom to buy and then 'oops guess these are conveniently here' stashed them his bedside table. and then shot out of bed in a cold sweat in the middle of the night to unseal the box of condoms and throw one or two away, so dongsik wouldn't know he bought it recently.

he knows dongsik will come after him after seeing the cctv footage. that dinner scene is the first time we see him in soft casual clothes, not because he's been caught unawares but because he's engineered it that way. he is not surprised when dongsik drops in. our man was planning on getting dicked down to within an inch of his life.

was driving earlier when i let in a car with the vanity plate REANM8. would dearly have loved to have taken a photo but i was driving alone and around a 4 car collision on an offramp
