My nerdy two-year-old nephew loves Paw Patrol and Trolls, but his biggest obsession is bowling. Yes, bowling. He loves it when his parents take him to the local bowling lane and when he's upset, he asks to watch bowling videos on YouTube.

The best part, though, is his toddler's mimicry ability. Lately, he's been copying some of the idiosyncrasies of the bowlers, including their stances and (my favorite) standing with his arms crossed. This is especially hilarious because, while he has the general idea, he doesn't quite have the mechanics down and his hands aren't tucked in to his elbows, so imagine a pretty big glasses-wearing two-year-old with his arms awkwardly placed on top of each other across his chest and with the most serious facial expression.

My niece is so smooth. I think she’s got the most game in the family.

On Saturday she mentioned needing a book of matches, so I gave one of the Hi Tide Records matchbooks I got at a tiki event a few weeks ago.
