Upon my KPDH hyperfixation, I've found myself so fascinated by this one scene.
During the Idol Awards, when the demons take the forms of Zoey and Mira, they almost made one on one copies of the girls, but they messed up with their singing. Zoey normally sings the higher parts while Mira sings lower. Well, I found that Zoey sings lower while Mira sings higher when the demons took their forms.
It's a neat little detail that I haven't seen many people talking about. It really shows how much dedication and effort they put into this movie.
@xansaturn guess who again. i genuinely cant stop drawing thats what happens if you take me away from my tablet for 5 days
SOOO another fanart, this time specifically for that one scene in the Chapter 9 of Rarer Still the Lenses, where they just go eepy in a shelter and Suns ends up resting their head on Pebbles' shoulder... they're so cringe they're so lovey dovey i need to explode them with my mind!!!!

Screams rang out in the tiny obsidian box, echoing against the dark walls and sending his ears ringing. His eyes squeezed shut, blocking out the visuals of flesh being torn open violently.

"What's wrong, Blade? Don't you like blood?" Came Quackity's mocking laughter as he dug his sheers into the soft flesh of Dream's back, carving out another cruel message into his skin. It was something that would haunt the man for the rest of his life, assuming that he would live long past this prison sentence. "Blood for the blood god, and all that," the hybrid sneered, cackling madly over the sounds of Dream's sickening sobs.
Techno didn't respond, eyes squeezed shut, shaking his head as if he could rid himself of the mental image of his friend's tortured body. As if he could forget the way Dream puked up blood after being repeatedly kicked by Quackity, eyes glossy as they rolled Into the back of his head. He swallowed thickly around the bile that threatened to come up at the stench of blood that permitted the cell.
Tears slid down his face, although he tried to hide away from Quackity's cruel gaze. He knew how important his image was, how much seeing something so vulnerable could cripple him. He needed that fear, that hesitation. He needed to be able to face the other once this was all over.
As it stood, even seeing the man enter his cell made him light up with queasy rage. It made him want to claw his skin off, made him want to bundle up his friend and hide away to keep him safe. He wanted Philza.
"Open your eyes, Blade, wouldn't want our dear mutt to suffer because you can't watch," he didn't want to. He didn't want to watch blood puddle within the grooves of the obsidian floor. Tears gathered in his eyes, teeth grinding loudly as he psyched himself up. If he didn't, Dream would suffer, and the man had suffered more than anyone had yet. It was bad enough that Quackity had broken bones and skin already.
Pealing his eyes open forced him to view the sickening sight of the man stradling Dream's lower back, crimson dripping from his enchanted sheers. Crimson met gold, grief met sadism.
"There we are. It's rude, you know, it's rude to look away from a show." Quackity hummed, twirling the sheers for a moment before refocusing on Dream. The blond trembled below his abuser, blood on his lips as he gasped brokenly. Techno looked down at his friend, at his hazy eyes and bruised face. At the tears that mixed with blood, teeth clenched against the sobs as another letter is carved into the delicate flesh of his back, crossing over the many many scars already left from hours, days, weeks of whipping.
Not at all what I had planned to draw today, but inspiration hit me and I needed to draw it.
The girl with the orange hair is Elly, and OC of mine who's able to comunicate with ghosts, this whole drawing is inspired by "Towering Terrors" a fic of mine that involves Elly investigating Tangle Tower during the events of the game.
And also of course, the Norman Rockwell painting "Triple Self-Portrait"
In the first sunspot book, during his flashback in chapter 2, we see his hair gets slightly longer as it goes on.
His long hair, covering his hearing aids, serves as a bit of a symbol to how he isn’t at ease/has come to terms with his disability yet.
And as time goes on and he has to repeatedly be reminded of the distance that’s now been in place between him and the hearing/able bodied world he used to be a part of and is now being ostracised/othered by he becomes less and less at ease with the part of himself that’s disabled. He becomes more and more reserved.
His bright long hair helping to blend him in with the pages itself since the doesn’t want to be perceived since it’s lead to him being reminded why he put up those walls in the first place.
That is until taichi came along. Recognising Kohei’s disability but treating him like he’s different, and not at least because of his disability, leading to the bond he forms with Taichi to help him in coming to terms with his own disability.
So I'm sketching lotr characters, using screenshots as references, and I just noticed how fucking weird the elves look.
I am very much not a visual person, so I tend to not notice these kinds of things unless they're back to back, but like -
Take Eowyn, for example. She has freckles, her hair isn't tidy most of the time, she has eyebags, there's dirt in her face on the battlefield. She looks like a real person, is what I'm trying to say.
Galadriel? Airbrushed. It looks like someone deleted every single bit of asymnetry. No imperfections. Not one wrinkle. Every pore looks like it is sealed shut. (Does she have pores? Not important)
And I KNOW that they probably DID airbrush her, and I KNOW that she is probably wearing tons and tons of makeup, but in universe, this is fucking eerie, okay?? I love this.
