This took a minute but I think I came up with something good! I once again had to cheat and do four sentences 😆

Merlin cursed quietly under his breath, he had expected some competition for the target but he hadn’t expected two from the best successful assassin guilds, and certainly not these two unfairly attractive assassins.

Gwaine, with his flirty smiles that could charm his way into any room and his clever fingers that Merlin was convinced weren’t just apt at stealing.

And then there was Lancelot, Lancelot and his easy grace, smothering eyes, and deceptive sweet aura that hid a much darker side of the man that made Merlin shiver.

Looking out onto the ballroom, Merlin nearly groaned at the delicious sight of the two men in their suits, tonight was going to a long night indeed.
