Primera parte · Montaje

En cuanto al montaje, decidí resolverlo de manera dinámica. Para ello pensé en realizar una caja, que fuese negra por dentro y por fuera. Además que tuviera unos orificios para ver hacia dentro (por dentro de la caja estarán las esculturas). Los orificios antes mencionados, estarán compuestos de lentes que he usado en las gafas que he tenido. Pues cada vez que cambio de fórmula, cambio de marco y casualmente tenía las gafas guardadas.             

Entonces esta parte del trabajo consistió en realizar unos tubos en foami, para poner los lentes de las gafas. Esto fue con el fin de darle volumen a estos.

Lo primero que hice, fue buscar los lentes que tenía guardados y los extraí de las gafas. Después hice los moldes en cartulina y los recorte; para después pasarlos al foami. Cuando ya los tenía en el foami, los recorte y después los pegue con silicona líquida. En total hay 8 laminas de foami pegadas una tras de otra (Por cada lente hay 8 laminas de foami).      

Durante el proceso me di cuenta que los foamis pegados se veían antiestéticos. Por ello decidí forrarlos con tela. La tela gris es terciopelo y la negra es ... . Para forrarlos primero cortamos las dos partes de tela, como se muestra en la imagen. Después las unimos a los lentes con silicona líquida.
