7 teenage girls from different time periods suddenly awaken to find that they are, in fact, zombies. A mysterious man by the name of Kotoro Tatsumi is telling them that he brought them back in order to form a pop idol group to save the prefecture of Saga.
Because they are zombies, they have to hide their identity, which is hard when you have one girl who actually acts like a zombie, and a very clearly zombie dog.
Shenanigans ensue as they all do their best to become the idols that they strive to be, enduring the challenges of memorizing songs, dances, dealing with fans, the press, AND trying to get along.
I greatly dislike zombies, but I like this anime! Clearly they are not the “Eat brains and flesh” type of zombies, but with the animation and art they can, in fact, look like VERY creepy zombies.
The songs are great and catchy! (spotify playlist) The characters are very well written, including a 100% cannon LGTBQ character. There is also a character that(in due time) is shown to have very real depression. Both things mentioned are very well handled in my opinion, and I love all of the characters!
