Andy Frasco & The UN will brighten your Friday
I know I haven’t posted this week, but allow me to remedy that. A little while back, a friend posted a video from when he saw Andy Frasco & The UN. I hadn’t heard of the band before then, but I was blown away. Just look at the energy that this band puts into performing. You could get worn out just watching this band. This is not only an amazing version of a classic tune (Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”), but also an example of how a live performance should be. Bands, take note. Why just stand on stage looking at your shoes when you can put on a performance like this one?
Hot damn, it’s Friday once again, and time to get down with an absolute classic. You know you’ve heard these funky breaks sampled in many hip-hop classics by artists such as De La Soul, Wu-Tang Clan and Digital Underground to name a few. Here’s Lafayette Afro Rock Band with “Hihache!”
