May I request a Dad!splinter headcannons with a female!reader who her dad isn't that much present in her life/is neglectful and starts treating splinter like her dad? Like- always does her best to get some kind of validation from him she doesn't get that often from her real father- bonus if she treats the turtles like her brothers and has a good bond with them! (I just need fluffy comfort rn about this topic- ;w;) please and thank you! ^w^

Father Splinter:

•Although a rat, he is very observant and can get you to talk about anything.

•At fist he's asking about your day and the next you find yourself crying over how your dad usually treats you and why doesn't he love you?

•Breaks his heart that you feel this way. Right then and there adopts you as his own (not legally of course but you understand)

•Every year since the boys were just babies he would line them up and take stand beside them for a family portrait. If you go down the hall of pictures you can see when he starts including you, an overwhelming feeling of love and acceptance takes over.

•Gets you christmas and birthday presents every year with a handmade card . He'll sit you down and talk to you about your growth on your birthday. How you've changed from last year.

•Can cook a mean ass breakfast casserole that leaves you and your bros feeling warm inside

•speaking of bros, they have always wanted a baby sister!!!!

•Yes they can be a pain and you to them but overall it's something new with you all everyday. You most likely attatched to Raph or donnie but still you spend loads of time with all of them.

•Splinter tells all the embarrising stories, even your own. Yet, it is in a way that doesn't make you feel bullied but has you laughing and enjoying yourself.

•#1 dad tea-cup and shirt and towel and -- anything you can put words on has #1 dad on it.

•You need validation? He's here. He even validates you for brushing your teeth or eating a full plate. Just takes stuff that you usually take for granted and turns it into a learning oppurtunity for you.

•speaking of teaching, he will teach you the way of the Dual dao swords. Two swords used as one( i.e. i am a zuko nerd)

•A little old but the best damn teacher you'll ever have.

•Funky rat loves himself some oldies. Celine dion and careless whisper will be played on occassion but expect to hear songs you didn't even know existed.

•Will often reminisce about his wife and child to you as a comfort. He really trusts you with this information
