These Funky Monkey Nutella Doughnuts are a delightful combination of banana and Nutella, making them a perfect treat for all ages. The crispy exterior and soft, flavorful interior will leave your taste buds dancing. They are quick to prepare and even quicker to disappear!

Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas. 1/4 cup milk. 2 large eggs. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/4 cup Nutella hazelnut spread. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Oil for frying. Powdered sugar for dusting. Additional Nutella for drizzling optional. Sliced bananas and crushed nuts for garnish optional.

Instructions: Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a mixing bowl. Mash the ripe bananas in a different bowl, then stir in the eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, Nutella, and milk. Blend until thoroughly blended. Once a smooth batter forms, pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir. Preheat oil to 350F 175C in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot. Drop spoonfuls of the doughnut batter gently into the heated oil, and cook for two to three minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Using a slotted spoon, remove the doughnuts and drain on paper towels to get rid of any extra oil. While the doughnuts are still warm, sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Pour extra Nutella over the doughnuts if you want them to taste even better. If desired, garnish with chopped nuts and sliced bananas. Enjoy the warm Funky Monkey Nutella Doughnuts after serving!

Album Cover Throwback

I have posted everyday for the last 31 days!

I can't believe the first month is already over with and I have actually followed through with my resolution. In order to celebrate, I was going through some of my old sketchbooks looking for ideas and I found this one from an old project a couple of years back. We had to redesign an assigned album cover and this was one of the ideas I came up with and never made. This Funky Monkey was inspired by The Beastie Boy's Licensed to Ill and I am very happy with how it turned out. This first month has been great and I can't wait to see what else I can create in the months to come.
