Funniest NPC3 Hate Comments/Replies on YouTube (Part 1)
I saw a Facebook post from a friend of mine yesterday, in which she was displaying some of the hateful comments posted on a blog she wrote, and it made me think of some of the comments that NPC3 has gotten in the past couple years on our YouTube videos. So, Sasha Brown, I apologize ahead of time, but I had to steal your idea. We have had some pretty good ones ourselves, and I personally think they're hilarious.
Much of the hate stems from the fact that......take a deep breath now, and try to soak this all in........NPC3 is a group of 3 white artists, in Rez Rap Records. I know, it's a complete mind fuck, it makes no sense whatsoever.......how can we be on Rez Rap and not be Native? This is a question I will probably be answering for the rest of my career, and probably my life. No matter how many times we say it, there's always another person asking that question right below a post where I explain the situation. So, for those who don't know me, and those who are too slow to pay attention, I will ONCE AGAIN tell you how this came to be......briefly.
Myself, Demo, and Zack have grown up with and around Natives most of our lives. Some of our best friends are Native, their families have become like a part our families, vice versa, blah, blah, blah......We are quite content with our skin color, we have no identity issues, we do not want to be another race, blah, blah, blah.......Before Rez Rap was even created, I connected with Wardog through mutual friends, and our own brief run-ins with each other. We started doing shows with 100 Souls, working on collabs, and started growing bonds. NPC3 and 100 Souls liked what we had goin on, had mutual respect for each other, and shows were going well. 100 Souls approached me, one night when I was at Wardog's, and told me they were plotting on starting their own label, called Rez Rap Records, and were interested in having us join. I told them I'd think about it, and brought it to Demo and Zack. We were hesitant at first, because of the Rez Rap name, and the hate we knew we'd get from it. Of course people would call us fake, wanna be's, blah, blah, blah.......We know who we are, and we know we're more real than anyone with somethin to say. You can check our raps, and match em up to our lives, blah, blah, blah......Needless to say, we said yes. We knew with NPC3 and 100 Souls together as Rez Rap, we would have a powerhouse of talent.
So, with all that being said......here are some of my favorite hate-filled comments on our YouTube videos, and some of the replies to those comments as well. I made this Part 1, because I know there will be more as we drop more videos, and I'm honestly looking forward to them. lol Even more funny is the replies from our fans tho. We love y'all man. Keep goin in on em. lol. So here goes:

This next post wasn't really hatin' on us, but at the same time, it was unnecessary. Believe me to the fullest, when I tell you that NPC3 does not need a history lesson as far as the relationships between Whites and Natives are concerned, the atrocities that occurred, and the fact that Europeans took this land from Natives. We are fully aware. I've probably heard it a million times in my lifetime. I've seen the effects that are occurring to this day, because of what happened 100 years ago. I understand that most white people don't get it, and even the ones that aren't racist, but just ignorant to the facts, have no clue, or don't care. And a lot of that is due to the fact that most "people" in general, don't even know any Natives, cuz the population has been destroyed to 1% of the people in this nation. Our history classes in school hide the real truth from our children. They teach lies. We take time out to learn in detail about the holocaust, and just breeze through the genocide and slavery of this nation. And when they teach us about the holocaust, and the Nazi propaganda, and how they used to make flyers with cartoon pictures of Jews with big noses, to dehumanize, and to make that people seem smaller and less human, I can't help but look at our sports logos, mainly the logo of the team in our country's biggest sport, representing the capital of this country, the Washington Redskins, and see that as the same type of propaganda. I get it.
Do people think we just came straight out of the suburbs to join Rez Rap Records out of nowhere? Or was it because we have grounded ties in the area? Here's a better question - do people think anyone else from any other race could have ever had a chance of joining Rez Rap, and been accepted? I don't think so. The people from the outside looking in don't accept us. The people that know us and get to know us most definitely do. I have mad love and respect for Red Lake, because I've gotten nothin but love and respect from Red Lake. And the same goes for anywhere I've been. I just use Red Lake because that is where this label originated. There's haters everywhere, but the majority of Red Lakers that I've met and know fuck wit NPC3 and got love for us. So while we don't ever try to represent the rez, we most definitely don't misrepresent it. I take complete pride in Rez Rap Records, because even though I didn't start it, and I didn't come up with the name, I've put as much hard work into this label as anyone else. You see how I turned something supposed to be funny into somethin deep? lol. I can't help it, sometimes this shit just spills out when I write. That's just the way it is. Do you notice though, how almost all the hate has to do with everything BUT our music? lol. So that's why this next statement rubbed me the wrong way.......I'm pretty sure no one in Rez Rap will "forget". lol

well rodger let me reiterate rez rap is a label. get it. and these white boys grew up around indians and if you personally knew them you would retract that statement. but i understand not knowing anything about them i would probably be confused too but i know these dudes and im from leech lake reservation and i would vouch for them anytime bro. red white or black music is sick
