The allusions to something being behind Harker throughout what I've seen so far of Longlegs are very intriguing.

The camera often lingers on a spot where she was walking from when she exits a shot. And when we look at her face while she's sitting/ standing just before an odd event occurs, the angle is tilted as if a tall person is standing behind her, like in the doorway behind her. There's often space behind her, empty space, suggesting someone will enter frame behind her, but then it doesn't happen. We often zoom in on the back of her head, as if something is slowly approaching her. Which also makes it seem very over worldly, as if an apparition is behind her. The dialogue she said about "something tapping me on the shoulder, telling me where to look" earlier in the film also comes to mind. There was another similar suggestion by the dialogue, where Longlegs never seems to actually be in the house going by the forensic evidence, calling to mind thoughts of Something being there, or possession.
