An Extended Author’s Note (Chapter 19) to “Forgive Us Our Trespasses”.

I wanted to express some of these thoughts and feelings when I completed the story, but I’m not sure I was ready to write them, I wasn’t ready to let go of it. I have taken the time to try to express what it has all meant to me, what you have all meant to me.

As a final expression of my gratitude, I have recorded a cover of the final listening suggestion that I have included at the end of my note to you all.

I’m SO happy he likes Lord Huron!

It made me smile all big and warm :) I did rec a Lord Huron song in FUOT, that’s right! The fic trailer that @allthedevilishthingswedo made for “Two Fronts” was also backed by a Lord Huron track :) 

The boy’s got good taste in music! I haven’t heard the new track he was referring to in the EB, but I am going to go find it now, because I must hear it!

Well...

I posted the first chapter of “Forgive Us Our Trespasses” one year ago today. That story, and all of you, changed a lot in my life. I found a passion I had long lost all over again and I am so grateful for it and everything that has happened since.

Hi RTR! I just want to say that I really love your writing and I'm happy to see you posting new stuff again! Welcome back. I was hoping you might be able to help me with something. I was re-reading FUOT and I always listen to all the music and look at the links you've attached, but one of them is broken. It's the cover song on the author's note. Is that post gone? I remember hearing it before. Anyway. Just wanted you to know that it wasn't working and hoped you might be able to link me to it :)

Yes, that post is gone. Tumblr’s new system flagged it and I was not able to request a review of an audio file so I had to remove it. I will try re-uploading it to see if that fixes the problem. 

I will link it HERE, and update the hyperlink in the fic once it’s live.
