In Oct. of 3018 I ordered a lavender shelby from @furbae. Due to life circumstances it took her a while to ship her, but I didn’t care and let her know! Along the way she offered me a brown shelby and I purchased him aswell. They came in the mail two days ago (just in time for my birthday on the 17th!) and she was kind enough to include an extra blue shelby for my wait. Thank you so much again, I appreciate them! 💙💚💜

hi! furbae is a tumblr user known for scamming people and owning furbys in SEVERE disrepair (and getting mad when people point this out), among other things. when i first joined the fandom, i made a post about not being able to find any furbys. furbae messaged me asking if i would like a free furby as long as i covered shipping (i can provide proof of this interaction if needed). i respecfully declined, having no access to online payment. knowing what she has done and thinking back on it now, i can matter-of-factly say that she either would have a) scammed me or b) brainwashed me into one of her many loyal fans. i DO NOT support her or her fans, and would prefer if neither of them interacted with me and my posts.

Things to know if you're new to the furby fandom!

Unless you're looking for a rare furby, you shouldn't pay more than $15-20 for it!

Learn how to skin / wash your furbs!

All furbies are good and wholesome

Avoid furbae like the plague (look at @furbae-scam for info on why!)

It's your choice whether or not to modify your furbies, but there are plenty of tutorials if you want to!
