Gus is eating relatively normally again (without bribery) so I'm assuming he was just stressed out because of the visitor we had

Gus is extremely concerned about emergency vehicles (the sirens specifically). Every time he hears them, he sits up/stands up and pulls his ears back 😭

Took the kids to the dog park for the first time, it went really well aside from when a man and his tiny dog came. Reasonably he was a bit nervous because my dogs are big, but they're very gentle. He corrected them if they were a bit too pushy with his little dog, which is fine. But then he decided to chase my dogs around, especially my "smaller" dog. He pretended to chase her even when she wasn't near his dog.

She was very nervous because of this, tail tucked and even going as far as to put a physical barrier in between (park bench) them, and continued to go to the opposite from him on any side he went.

He eventually left and she went back to normal. But then a different man came and she became nervous again, wary of him, and kept her distance.

I wonder if she'd had negative experiences beforehand (we got her a 4 months but she'd been rehomed and been to many fosters) or if she was more anxious than I anticipated.

Hopefully this doesn't become a permanent thing, and she'll forget it quickly!

Furgusson is so big he can dig a deep pit in like 2 seconds. I leave him in the yard to play/potty for a bit before bed and he digs a deep ass hole 🤦
