Fur is out! (but should’ve never been “in”)
Many luxury clothing and accessory brands such as Versace, Michael Kors and most recently, the British fashion brand Burberry have decided to start phasing out and banning the use of fur in their products. This is a celebrated (and frankly overdue) change to these brands’ policies given the cruel and barbaric methods that are used to obtain the fur. But progress is being made and deserves to be commended. Fashion houses such as these deciding to go fur free is fantastic news!
Fur Free Retailer is a website that you can use as a source to find out a retailer’s fur policy so that you can be an informed shopper. This is a program that was created by Fur Free Alliance which is an entity comprised of various organizations that are committed to protecting animals all over the world.
