my 6 year old cousin has decided he's a furry now and I support him but he wants his entire family to chip in to get him a $4,000 fursuit for Christmas.........he will take no compromises. it's not even the price that's a problem (even though that is a lot of money for us to fund, even all together) it's the fact that he's 6 and I don't want him to outgrow something so expensive really quickly. because he WILL outgrow a custom fursuit within 3 years if he gets one right now, and then we will be right back to the family funding such an expensive thing a second time.
idk anything about furries really (I'm just a furry ally), so basically I'm posting this in hopes that someone in the furry/fursuit community has any advice for something that will still make him happy, but that he will either get more years of wear from OR that is less expensive. he's already said no to getting just the head/paws/tail, and also said no to a onesie. any ideas would be appreciated, because honestly we're all stumped on it now.
