Would anyone be interested in a cheap custom fursuit head? I want to practice but would need the funds for supplies AND a character to practice on.
payment would probably go ( half the supply cost / foam base is started and shaped -> rest of the supply cost / furred and detailed and finished up -> shipping + maybe a teeny extra for time and work spent / head shipped out )
my 6 year old cousin has decided he's a furry now and I support him but he wants his entire family to chip in to get him a $4,000 fursuit for Christmas.........he will take no compromises. it's not even the price that's a problem (even though that is a lot of money for us to fund, even all together) it's the fact that he's 6 and I don't want him to outgrow something so expensive really quickly. because he WILL outgrow a custom fursuit within 3 years if he gets one right now, and then we will be right back to the family funding such an expensive thing a second time.
idk anything about furries really (I'm just a furry ally), so basically I'm posting this in hopes that someone in the furry/fursuit community has any advice for something that will still make him happy, but that he will either get more years of wear from OR that is less expensive. he's already said no to getting just the head/paws/tail, and also said no to a onesie. any ideas would be appreciated, because honestly we're all stumped on it now.

Here's finished photos of the lykoi cat! This unique fursuit head was an experiment in a slightly different style than usual. It features vision from the tear duct area and ventilation out of the mouth and ears. Fits up to 25" crown size.
It is for sale as a partial suit that includes: head, sleeves, hands, tail, feet, partial leg sleeves, and a collar. I’m asking $2300.
