What kind of animals would your characters be in like a zootopia esque scenario?
Firstly, I want to make it clear that I am furry friendly here. I'm not sure if the question was posed because the asker didn't know if I was furry friendly or not, or if they were looking for specifically ZT type representation.
Because ZT was mentioned, I went on the fandom website and looked up some pictures of animals represented in the movie. (I've seen the movie, but I wanted to get a feel for how they looked and how they were represented. I know this question was for an -esque scenario, but I figured I'd do some research anyway because...well...that's what I do, I guess.
Otto Might be a little nail on the head with who he's inspired by, but wolf. I just feel like with physical attributes it just tracks. Probably a grey wolf. He's the kind of guy that sort of defies how he looks, so it'd track no matter what character trope wolves normally fall under. So, some sort of canid at least.
Atticus Atty was kind of difficult to pin down. They are mostly inspired by me, and I've related to anything from squirrels to crows. But eventually I settled on trash panda. Atty would definitely be a raccoon. Otter was a close second (for obvious reasons) but they don't really love water that much and a raccoon seems to be allowed to be depicted as chubbier. Atty likes their little squishy belly.
Mark Did some work on this one too cause I know you all love this dude. I think white tiger. Cause it has blue eyes and is frustratingly attractive but also pretty maladaptive to actually live in the wild. I dunno. All the himbo type animals were canids and I feel like there needs to be some diversity. I dunno. If you're thinking another animal feel free to suggest it!
I'm not sure about the others in this universe, but these seem to be the main players. If I have thoughts about the other characters, I'll add on! And if anyone else has thoughts, feel free to add on, too!
