it’s the thor effect where the character tries to take themselves seriously but are in fact an absolute dorkus and it’s adorable
I love the gag where people start screaming and it’s cut off my a scene transition--works in shows and comic books alike. I think my favorite instance might actually be in DBZ Abridged, the first time Vegeta got to say “fuck” uncensored by splitting it up between scene cuts.
