F-187 fusioncutters were a type of common handheld repair tool, found throughout the galaxy. F-187s projected a plasma beam of varying strength, able to slice through most metallic substances with ease. These fusioncutters were standard issue for most large militaries, both during the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War.
