The Smiling Friends Join the CNU!

These four were so fun to work on, and I think as far as translation goes, it looks good too.

I did have to give Pim a nose, unfortunately, but it's so tiny and recessed that you can barely see it. That's the only flaw here, I'm sure of it.

Took it upon myself to line and ink in one of the amazing FusionFall sketches created by @trollerskates / @aaronhamm , also known as @ffunseen , for FF Legacy. 

Granted, I have made changes of my own to reflect the design I intend to use for Steven Universe for my Earth One fanfiction project...like that top knot. Virt, if you’re reading this, know that this project is in no way a new game project, but something that I’ve been working on alone. I make no claim to your art apart from the additions made and the inking. If you would prefer I not use this design in my fanfiction project (where it’s really just described in word), then I will comply.

Admittedly, the piece isn’t the best, especially in terms of shading, but I took major reference from the art style of both Virt and @foomidori to make it look as authentic to the FusionFall style as I can. And I’m super excited to use this in further CNU Earth One stories (if I’m allowed to).

As always, I applied my own touches to the original base to reflect differences in design for Earth-One, such as those tufts of hair. I do like the curls I gave her at the bottom of her head. A nice way to substitute for Anais’s ears when they aren’t hanging down.
