Enjoy the exquisite taste of a Dragon Roll, a fusion sushi roll featuring creamy avocado, refreshing cucumber, and savory salmon or imitation crab, all wrapped in a blanket of seasoned rice and nori. The spicy mayo adds a kick of flavor while toasted sesame seeds provide a delightful crunch.
Ingredients: 2 cups sushi rice. 4 sheets nori seaweed. 1 avocado, ripe and sliced thinly. 1 cucumber, julienned. 8 ounces sushi-grade salmon or imitation crab. 1 tablespoon mayonnaise. 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted. Soy sauce, for dipping.
Instructions: Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool. Place a sheet of nori on a sushi mat, shiny side down. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a small border at the top. Arrange avocado slices, cucumber, and salmon or crab in a line across the center of the rice. Roll the sushi tightly using the mat, sealing the edge with water. Mix mayonnaise and sriracha sauce, then drizzle it over the roll. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top of the roll. Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces. Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
