There's no way MCs secret is lasting long bc these ROs are wayyyy too observant. Well at least Corinne and Vicente are, pretty sure Calliope will be shocked (and in some cases horrified iykyk).

Maybe/probably spoilers but how suspicious are the ROs of MCs secret on a scale? Or if that's too spoiler-ish what's their ranking from most to least sus?

Putting these together because they’re somewhat on the same subject.

On a suspicious scale…

Corinne and Vicente both think MC is sus af! 😆 I’d say Vicente probably tops the list as most suspicious, but they’re naturally suspicious by nature, so they were predisposed to doubt MC. Corinne is very thoughtful and has been putting the pieces together. If you’re on her route (chose her in the PTSD scene in chapter 4) she basically corners MC about it.

After them would be Bayram. He noted the MC’s odd behavior in the Rocca Cielo mission, but he brushes it off. Whereas Vicente is predisposed to question, Bayram is predisposed to take things at face value. He’s not going to pry too deeply into another’s affairs.

Calliope bottoms our list as the least suspicious. She’s going to be the one really in shock when that secret comes out!

Silly question: do you plan to have any further customisation for the MC? You mentioned tattoos for when we go to Tinebaille, and there's already a lot of variables to keep track of (attunement, clothes, binder, hair, eyes, skin colour, ect ect) but I was just curious whether they'll be anything else like facial hair or freckles?

I didn’t even consider facial hair and freckles; I’m sorry, but I won’t be able to include them in this IF. You’re right, I have too many variables to keep track of as it is. I want to bring up those customizations as flavor text throughout, and the more I have, the more difficult it is to feature them all. 😭 I’ll squirrel those ideas away for my next IF!

And like i know he’d hate it regardless but I feel like there are definitely levels to it.

first time submitting an ask...kinda nervous... (also, i apologize if this has been asked prior! i was scrolling through this page for roughly an hour lol)

okay, where do i start. i'm a member on kofi and i had the absolute pleasure of reading the newest chapter before it publicly released. im not gonna give any spoilers for those without a membership, but, to no one's surprise, it's AMAZING. 100/10!!! my mc is at 75% air attunement right now and i patiently yet eagerly await the day she gets to display her abilities! she's an irritable yet teasing mess with complicated feelings towards the empire. initially, i planned for her to romance calliope, but then vincente and coda made me switch sides. (love me a reluctant-ally-to-lovers and childhood-friends trope) she will definitely be romanced in future playthroughs! so will the other ro's!

okay okay, enough of my ranting. onto the ask: How would the RO's react to the MC writing/singing a song about them? Obviously, I don't mean it in a 'Hunter in Ginny and Georgia' way but much more intimate, no one else around. Would any RO's brush it off and call the MC cheesy? Which ones would melt? Decisions, decisions...

As to your question, I apologize, but I’m not going to answer it. It ventures too close to a scene that will eventually happen in story. Your chosen RO will be your duette, and for everyone but Tellus, that’s a melody they can’t hear. So MC will sing that tune for them at some point in the story. And I want you to wait and see their reactions at that time. ☺️

I love talking to my loves, its been soooooo long. Talking things out really helps me process where I wanna take the story or fight through plot holes and the like.. OKAY!

I really wanna talk about the wips I have loaded in the chamber. These are the ones that I am actively working on. Ignore the 14 ideas I haven't started yet. Semi spoilers down below! 🖤✨

His Lighthouse Chapter:

I kinda talked about it here in this recent post but yeah this next chapter is gonna be very long (which means it gonna take me longer to create) but yall know I'm worth the wait. AHEM. I outlined some more scenes so I have an idea of how the chapter is gonna flow, we still need to discuss Joker's actual name. We need backstory for Irenka and a sprinkle for J.

I have to justify flying the reader to Slovakia and give her something to do while there. A girl needs a break from all the stress in her life and unfortunately, y/n ain't gonna get it. At least not yet. Probably never because I never played nice with my dolls I might make that into a later chappy who knows.

its time for a crashout and I plan on it not being the loud and explosive kind we typically see on social media etc. Y/n is an educated woman and very reserved. She wouldn't get loud and throw things.... I don't wanna spoil but heh. Joker is gonna panic.

I also promised a love @munchmunson that I would include her oneshot request inside the next chapter so its gonna have some smut--thus making it an even longer chapter. 🥴🤭

I was also talking to one of my other loves that I need to draw this story to a close. I already written the ending to His Lighthouse (because that's how my brain works) BUT the plot took control and it does not align with the pre-written ending, SO Chaos has to write a sequel to fix it. I'm planning maybe two more chapters of His Lighthouse. That way I can take a big long break and work on uni 👀

That being said, I have to find a way to loop y/n and Joker back to Gotham to begin the sequel. I'm very excited to connect the dots that I've been threading since the first chapter. I swear, when I say everything? Everything connects and when you all read the plot twist, I hope it blows your mind.

Pause: one anon was kinda rude and mentioned that my version of Joker is so ooc. He doesn't act like canon Joker plotting things and being evil etc. and I just laughed and deleted the ask because my name is Chaos.

sigh.... I was supposed to post this fic before Thanksgiving. It has 4200 words rn and I keep reading it and reading it and GAHH! I'm stuck! I think my biggest problem is I'm trying to make a long fic concept short and its not working. The idea of a young reader being Joker's partner in crime deserves so much attention and I need to respect that rather than rushing through. I need to bite the bullet and just write it however long the final word count takes.

I really don't wan post a weak story ya know, that's not my style. I value QUALITY over quantity. But yeah I have nightmares about that fic. I just want it done. Like I can recite the story I've read it so many times. I hear the song its based on and I slam my head against my desk. I can see the plot like a movie in my head, just need to get it on digital paper.

oh yasss @isuckatmakingnamess hit me up on the side and requested this story and I heard a song while driving to campus that fits the plot PERFECTLY!!!! Its just a matter of finding time to write the darn thing! Its all fluffy smut and loving reassurance that I've never written y/n receiving from Joker. Not much to yap on this one; I got a gameplan.

Broken dolls part two:

If I don't write the part two for thissssss..... I just might get passive aggressive threats again lol. I cannot believe so many people liked my dark dead dove content. Like I held back because its a "sensitive topic" and I did not want to get cancelled. Surprise surprise the people want more? OKAY!

SEVERAL people have messaged me ideas for part two and I'm blown away by the support. I have so many ppl in my corner that want me to just go crazy go stupid and I plan on delivering. Chaos getting the green light to write dark content? SAY LESS.
