ps: you can just imagine the chaos this would cause, bonus points if Valarr is already betrothed to someone else and Aerion does not care at all bc he’s fully focused on achieving his goal of bringing dragons back.

but ok ok ok you're cooking here darling. Because let's just analyse this with SCIENCE.
Aerion is tormented by his prophetic dreams and/or has been spying on his father and uncle and overheard the phrase floating round of 'a song of ice and fire' and that the 'dragon must have three heads' is now enraptured by the idea of bringing dragons back.
He dreams frequently of the eggs hatching, of children with vivid violet eyes and resembling his alpha cousin. He begs his father to consider the prospect of marriage but is informed it is too late, Valarr has a betrothed.
Aerion, in his desire to DO ANYTHING, brings along Daeron to try and help him, thinking maybe they'll listen if Daeron speaks one of his dreams. He tries to convince his Uncle Baelor of the importance of the Dragon Seed, he even goes as far as befriending Egg to make it look like he is an appealing omega.
All the while he is forcing every encounter he can with Valarr; sitting next to him at court dinners, bumping into him and his betrothed in the gardens, DOING ANYTHING to leave his scent around.
It all comes to a boiling point when Valarr, irritated by Aerion's constant presence, asks his cousin what exactly he is up to. Aerion, not one to tell a lie to his future mate, tells him exactly what he is up to, rekindling the fire their family once were forged in.
Valarr takes his time with it, watching as Aerion rambles and explains, watches the way the heat rises up his neck so prettily. They argue, naturally, and Valarr, a noble man, insists it improper as he is to be married and Aerion has no true feelings for him either way. He dismisses Aerion but cannot stop thinking about him from that moment on.
Aerion notices the change, notices how Valarr now cannot stop looking at him, cannot stop touching him, and it confuses him. So he corners him and demands an answer for his hot and cold nature.
It turns out Aerion was not the only one having these dreams. Valarr had been plagued by them too, ever since he had come of age and he had forced it down, thinking it too wicked to bring to light. He even begged his father to marry him off to be rid of the desire he felt... No... feels for Aerion.
Aerion confesses at first he only had a want to fulfill the prophecy, to make sure he was the mother of dragons but now... Valarr knows what he means and... Well, that's where we enjoy Valarr absolutely DEVOUR Aerion because who is he to deny a prophecy?!?
