((Camille (mentioned) Future Lee belongs to @inklingleesquidly
Justinian and Telemachus (mentioned) and Future Agent 7 belongs to me))
Agent 7 has been noticing the attitude Camille has made towards his apprentice Justinian and his top Agent, Telemachus. He decided to chat with the girl after hearing she's the daughter of Lee Squidly. The results were not as he expected and things went downhill from there for the next few months.
He decided to chat with the man himself, Lee Squidly. He visited him in his workplace and requested a meeting at an old, yet familiar, cafe in Inkopolis Plaza.
There, Agent 7 treated Lee to a lunch any squid would like when they were a kid. Lee chatted about their lives after the whole superhero thing; Agent 7 only mentioned how he was preserving the Agency after Cuttlefish passed away.
Agent 7 then got to the topic of Camille.
"Lee.... there's something I need to say about your daughter." Agent 7 puts down his bottle of soda.
"Again, I don't want her going through what I've been through," Lee quickly responded.
"No, no, no, it's about her attitude towards others. She called Telemachus and Justinian weirdos. She was mocking me and my title as an Agent. She called me a patoot." Agent 7 folds his arms.
"This my daughter we're talking about, and she's just a kid," Lee defended, "Don't you think you're overreacting?"
"I've been trying to figure her out for the past months, and she is a tomboy, but not the good kind." Agent 7 drinks his soda in huge gulps.
"Camille isn't that bad." Lee shook his head. "That's just her."
"Well say that to my step-daughter, she told me that Camille is very brash towards those that aren't her friends." Agent 7 takes out his phone and shows some texts. "And I got some reports from my spying units that she tends to not care about anything but racing with the exception of her friends."
"You were spying on her!?" Lee is shocked. "You can't do that!"
The two squids kept arguing about Camille with Agent 7 calling out on her and Lee defending her.
"Look!" Agent 7 gets up and his tone changed to something more serious. "From why months learning Psychology, you daughter has a problem! Something that came from her past that made her the way she is today. If that's the case, I'm not sure when she'll drop the tough and apathetic act."
Lee gets up and stands in front of him. "Seven, don't be like that. You were always like that, putting your nose in things. Remember when you were trying to figure out the Wonder Inklings' identities?"
Agent 7 can remember that well and he sighs. He looked away. "I guess I'm that guy again." That then reminded him the question, "What would Marie think?" He took a deep breath and pats Lee's shoulder. "Look, I don't mean like this towards your daughter... I'll call off the spies. I also want to apologize for this, but it's a concern I wanted to bring up to you."
"Just don't worry about her, Camille will always by like that." Lee yawns. "Well, I better go... I'll try to talk to my daughter if that's what you want."
Agent 7 nods. He waves to Lee good-bye before paying for the meal that had.

I told Camille and Nebula to use the Saltspray Rig as a rally point and a base of operations for the counteroffensive. Julia calculated that they have until Midnight to prepare for it. Justinian and the Sea Angel Splatoon were there with a few other Inklings; they were volunteering to help. Justinain was the most devoted among them when he heard that Nebula was kidnapped. I'll be there to lead them on this counteroffensive; We called it Operation Blue Tang.
But while they were preparing, I was invited to meet with someone.
Inkopolis Cafe - 3:00 PM
Agent 7 enter the old cafe. He had alot of good memories here with his old Splatoon and a few friends. He sat down in a table booth with his hands on the table.
Across the table was an Inkling about the same age as him. His hair was pink, and his skin was a light tan. He wore a zapfish jacket, a squid nordic head gear, and a dark navy blue tracker pants. It was his old friend... Agent Blueshift. He was still wearing that unique visor.
They had some milk tea and hotdogs; they were Marie's favorite. Agent 7 offered to pay for the food. They were enjoying the meal, but Blueshift didn't come here to just eat with Agent 7. He knows something.
"Jason... I want to ask something. We saw what happened at that district. It was on the news."
Agent 7 was going to have another sip of his milk tea, but stopped when he mentioned that.
"...What about it?"
"My daughter isn't in summer camp, is she?" Blueshift was calm. "And neither is Camille."
Agent 7 didn't respond; he was too afraid to answer that.
"Agent 7..." Blueshift leaned forward. "Are they agents?"
Agent 7 gulped and puts down is cup of milk tea. He was afraid of what they'll all say. With Lee and Callie, he'll be in trouble, but he was sure of what Blueshift and Marie would say if they saw their daughter as an Agent. So he answer cautiously.
"... It was for their own protection... Leviathan would've tracked them down to you guys..." Agent 7 hangs his head in shame. "... And right now.... right now.... they have your daughter..."
Blueshift was silent for a moment.
"Please... don't tell anyone about this. Don't tell Callie, Lee, or even-"
"Agent 7... I promise not to tell." Blueshift gave a smile, and a teardrop can be seen. "But do whatever you can to get her back."
But without regret, Agent 7 changed his mind. He was no longer going to hide it.
"I will... But you can tell the others the truth when it strikes Midnight."
Those guys have retired about 10 years ago... what can they do? And as long as Camille, Emerald, and Nebula are agents, they are my responsibility. They may be fighting for Inkopolis, but they're battles I should be facing... I trust in Blueshift that he keeps this a secret until that time comes.
Anyway... Hours later in the Saltspray Rig, Julia was presenting Camille and Emerald another vehicle, the orca. It took a while for them to handle this. They weren't go carts.
Saltspray Rig - 11:59 PM
The Sun has already sunk down into the horizon, and the sky darkens to cover itself in specks of light and clouds of bright dust. Emerald was at a Rig's edge, kicking her legs and watching the night sky.
Julia and Q were on a speed boat, still watching Camille get the hang of using the watercraft.
The whole ridge was actually being occupied by battleships with the Seal of a Trident with a few sea creatures circling it. It was the Seal of the Great Barrier Reef Treaty Organization. They were equipped with ink cannons and a few aircrafts.
Camille stopped driving the Orca watercraft and parked it next to Julia's speed boat.
"These watercrafts might be enough to reach your coordinate," Julia explained, "but there's no weapons equipped to this."
"Are you kidding?" Camille responded, "As the <i> fastest squid alive, no can every try to hit me!"
"Well you sure are fast..." Q commented in sarcasm.
It soon struck 12... time for the counter-offensive.
"Good luck, Alpha." Julia turns the boat around and has a small number of speed boats following her.
Camille, Emerald, and the battleships were all in a line. A few armored speed boats are along side the two agents. Albatross fighter planes are circling over the Rig. Justinian and Theadora were on one Orca watercraft, and Marcus and Hera were on another.
Agent 7 can be heard through a mic. Mooky was with him on the flagship.
"All units, get to your position for departure. Our designated destination is a construction site 50 miles west from an island that's home to the leader of Leviathan. This counter offensive is to assure our citizens of Inkopolis that we're still here to protect them from harm.
Never forget this time that Leviathan sank it's teeth on Inkopolis soil once more. This will be our day to keep the sea beast at bay...!"
As Agent 7 continue his instructions and speech, there was a speed boat that entered the premises.
Oh no...
When the boat stopped in front of Camille and Emerald, Lee, Callie, Janine, Marie, and Blueshift were there. Agent 7 noticed and stopped his speech, he got to the main desk and ordered the ship to start the engines and set sail.
"Camille!" Lee called.
"Dad!?" Camille did expect her parents to be here.
"Come home right now!" He demanded.
"No!"
"Camille! You can't be an agent!" Callie tried to help, "It's dangerous!"
"I have to do this! They took Nebula!"
Agent 7 was then at the edge of the rail, watching them from above. He hides behind three metal barrels just in case they spot him.
"Camille, we're taking you home this instant!" Lee didn't like this tone from his daughter, "We can't lose you like this!"
"Listen to your parents, Camille!" Janine supported.
Agent 7 communicated with Camille through the headsets. "Camille, we have no time for this... we have to go now."
Camille hesitated.
"Camille!" Lee called once more.
"Camille!" Callie called.
"Camille!" Janine called.
"Camille, we'll talk to them about this later! Right now we have mission to do!" Agent 7 quickly hung up.
This was already a tough decision, but not matter how much her parents or her grandmother begged, she has already made up her mind. She never wanted to be an Agent, but right now... right now, she has come this far, and she can't stop until the job is done.
"I'm sorry guys! But you can't stop me from doing this! I'm going on this counter-offensive and saving Nebula!"
She turns on her water craft.
"Agent Delta, Sea Angel Splatoon! Let's rock and roll!" Camille got the Ocra water craft running and she drove it around their ship.
Emerald, Justinian, Marcus, Hera, and Theadora all followed. Soon the fleet of the counter-offensive departed, passing by the small ship. Lee went to the other side of the ship and watch them leave.
"Camille!" Lee watched them leave. "No..."
"Lee... She's going to get herself killed." Callie worried.
Janine didn't say anything. Marie and Blueshift were praying that Nebula will be alright.
-Lee makes his kids their lunches before he goes to work.
-Callie sings Pac-Man to sleep every night, and she used to do the same with Camille (who won’t admit that it still soothes her to sleep)
-When Lee has guests on his radio show, or callers on the phone; if someone gets vulgar or speaks out of line he quickly reminds them “simmer down, kids are listening to this.”
-Callie goes to the gym every single day. Lee used to come but he doesn’t anymore since he can’t keep up with her.
-every morning when Lee starts his radio show he opens with hilarious anecdotes about his family-- sometimes to his daughter’s chagrin.
-Callie’s ascot was a graduation gift from Marie so she wears it every day.
- Nobody ever suspects that Lee is actually Squid Dandy since his radio voice doesn’t match up with his casual voice.
-Callie has a near-encyclopedic knowledge of the process of television production and distribution
If you could give Lee and Janine a happy ending, how would it go? If you don't want to spoil future plans, you don't have to.
mmm– ya know what, why not? Let's look into the distant future, THE GOOD ENDING for the Squidlys.
Lee becomes a successful radio personality who’s listened to by all of Inkopolis, and becomes the official commentator for professional Turf Wars. Because I’m trash he also gets married to Callie who gave up her Idol status years ago so she could date him.
After giving up being a Pop Idol, Callie went to school for television production since she had admired the work that Janine did ever since she got to know her. Janine even gave her an internship to work as her assistant while she studied. As much as Callie wanted to work behind the cameras, Janine felt she had too much personality and enthusiasm for that; she deserved to be on t.v.
To remedy this, Callie was recruited to be the host of an educational food and culture show. She travels all around the world, trying and learning exotic foods, and also learns about the local music. At the end of every episode she takes a crack at making one of the dishes she’s learned, and singing one of the songs she’s learned.
It’s a highly popular show, particularly with young Inklings.
Janine couldn’t be happier– from not only being promoted to a network executive but because she gets to help look after her son and his his wife’s two little squids. The eldest is Camille Squidly, and the youngest is little tiny Pac-Man Squidly.
She also gets the big family she always wanted since they merged with the Cuttlefish clan which includes Marie (who basically went on to become the Splatoon equivalent of Beyonce), as well as their half-brothers and sisters and their families from the Capn’s head-canon previous marriages.
Both Lee and Janine have everything they’ve ever wanted, most especially they still have each other.
