Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live Gets an Amazing Launch Trailer

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is now available as a free download on PlayStation®Network, but players will need to purchase Stages in order to play any content. There will be a total of three stages that can be purchased à la carte for $14.99 or as a season pass bundle for $39.99 (you’re saving money with the bundle, just saying) in the Americas. European prices will be commensurate and more information about the 2nd and 3rd Stages will be revealed at a later date.

The 1st Stage is out now and contains the following seven tracks:

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live "1st Stage" Detailed

Sega has detailed the “1st Stage” of Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live, which is due out via the PlayStation Store for PlayStation VR on October 13 in Japan and October 14 in North America and Europe. It’s also safe to expect a few more stages after this release.

Players in Hatsune Miku VR: Future Live will be able to enjoy the concert of Hatsune Miku within a virtual reality setting and you’ll be picking the song you want Miku to perform. You can use the d-pad to freely change your seat within the event. You can even view Miku’s performance from many different angles on her end as well. The game supports 7.1 channel stereoscopic sound, so the reality of being at a real concert isn’t far off. Not only will Miku be heard differently based on your seat, but on stage you’ll even be able to hear her singing voice.

Liven up the concert and wave your light stick to the rhythm and call out along to the music. You may even get a response from Miku. By livening up the venue and increasing its Voltage, Miku may even change outfits. Hatsune Miku VR: Future Live has three songs included in the “1st Stage”. However, if you liven up the concert, you may get a private encore!

Hatsune Miku VR: Future Live is Coming to Japan this October for PS4

SEGA has just announced a new PlayStation VR exclusive game titled “Hatsune Miku VR: Future Live” on the Miku Blog, and will release for the PS4 in Japan on October 13th, 2016. The games appears to be largely based on SEGA’s 2015 E3 demo for the previously-named “Project Morpheus” VR system. The game features some rhythm/motion mechanics, which is required to fill a voltage meter to get the crowd excited. If the goal amount is met, you will join Miku on-stage for a performance! More info on this game should be revealed very soon!
