Schedule starting next semester

So I start school again in about a month. And I know for a fact that Ryan and Ray Destroy the Internet will be done by then. Dangan Roosters 2 probably won’t be. And that’s fine. Either way when I get back to school I’ll be starting two new fics. They both take place in the same AU. The AU being my monster/creature AU called Creatures of the Day.I’m going to get back into a Tuesday/Thursday updating schedule. (It’s hard right now because my work schedule get’s posted week to week)  So this is what that writing schedule will be like.

Tuesday’s: Dangan Rooster’s 2 (When it’s my turn to write) / Creatures of the Day (When it’s not my turn to write) / Make This Place Your Home (When DR2 finishes)

Thursday’s: Creatures of the Day

I’ll ask for a beta for my two new fics once it get’s closer to writing them. I’ll also update my fic master list once RRDTI is finished because I just can’t stop coming up with AUs

A few notes about future football schedules

Many of you keen-eyed Hokie fans probably already know about plans either finalized or in the works that would affect future Tech schedules, but here's a quick summary:

Games scheduled against East Carolina in 2012 (home) and 2013 (in Greenville) as part of the nine-year contract signed way back when have been moved to 2016 and 2017. There has been no confirmation of location, but I expect they'll swap those two games to make the 2016 an away game and 2017 a home game. Tech already has seven home games scheduled in 2016 (Out of conference schedule is Wisconsin, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan) and needs OOC opponents for the home schedule in 2017. David Teel of the Daily Press (article linked above) keeps the 2016 game at home and has the 2017 on the road, however.

Why the move? Because Tech is on the verge of signing a contract to open the 2013 season in Atlanta with another Chik-fil-A Kickoff Classic against Alabama. We can all hope this one goes better than the last, when Tech squandered a one-point lead to start the fourth quarter in route to a 34-24 loss to the eventual national champions.

The Washington Post has also reported that the Maryland game scheduled for 2014 will be moved from the unfriendly confines of Byrd Stadium in College Park to the more welcoming environs of M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, home of the Ravens. Those of us who affectionately call Byrd Stadium "Lane Stadium North" will delight in knowing that Tech fans will have even more tickets to claim when playing the Turtles.

Of more immediate concern: There are only 66 days until the Hokies kick off the 2011 season against Applachian State. Are you ready for some Virginia Tech football?
