Kenneth and I went to future--cat--lady's house on Friday night and promptly fell asleep on her couch
then on Saturday I went over to vitamere's apartment for artsing and lunch and took a nap on her couch too
so grateful for these two ladies, for friends so close that i don't even have to be conscious in their homes

when holly was in atx we hung out at annie's house one night and kami's boyfriend kenneth gave me a high five at one point and was kind of taken aback by how warm my hand was (i'm like a personal heater) and said, "damn, you have ridiculous circulation" and the first thing i said was "sorry" before i realized that i was apologizing for my body's natural physiological processes
so when i saw the canada/america parking spot meme earlier today i laughed really hard and then i stopped laughing because i realized i am totally canadian on the inside
so it might be almost 3 am and i might have to wake up for hospital volunteering in about 5 hours when normally i get 7-8 hours but tonight was so, so, fun and good and challenging and i'm pretty sure if it wasn't for kami by now i'd have carved out a space in a large rock to live in
so. thank God for discussions about him, for new friends, for old friends, for movie nights, and for moscato wine.
