Howdy all.  Another solarpunk book recommendation, I’ve talked about vertical farming and Dr. Despommier before, but I just got a printed copy of his book so I thought I’d share.  

Food is what we built our society on in the first place, it makes some poetic sense that societal change will start with food as well.

Interesting article from advantech on a system that uses rotating soil-free hydroponics and LED's to imitate sunlight and therefore has a faster growing time than traditional methods
