भारताचे 'IndiaAI' मिशन आणि स्वावलंबन

भारताचे 'IndiaAI' मिशन हे देशाला कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेच्या क्षेत्रात जागतिक स्तरावर आघाडीवर नेण्यासाठी आणि तांत्रिकदृष्ट्या स्वावलंबी (Sovereign AI) बनवण्यासाठी आखलेले एक महत्त्वाकांक्षी धोरण आहे. २०२६ च्या अर्थसंकल्पात या मिशनसाठी १,००० कोटी रुपयांची तरतूद करण्यात आली असून, एकूण ५ वर्षांसाठी १०,३०० कोटींहून अधिक निधी मंजूर झाला आहे. ​या मिशनचे स्वरूप आणि स्वावलंबनासाठीचे ७ महत्त्वाचे स्तंभ (Pillars) खालीलप्रमाणे आहेत:

​१. इंडिया एआय कॉम्प्युट (Compute Capacity) ​एआय मॉडेल तयार करण्यासाठी प्रचंड संगणकीय शक्तीची (GPUs) गरज असते. ​लक्ष्य: सार्वजनिक-खाजगी भागीदारीतून १०,००० हून अधिक GPUs चे जागतिक दर्जाचे इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर उभारणे. ​सवलत: भारतीय स्टार्टअप्सना हे GPUs केवळ ६५ रुपये प्रति तास या सवलतीच्या दरात उपलब्ध करून दिले जात आहेत, जेणेकरून त्यांना परदेशी सर्व्हरवर अवलंबून राहावे लागू नये.

​२. इंडिया एआय इनोव्हेशन सेंटर (Innovation Centre) ​हे केंद्र भारताच्या स्वतःच्या Large Multimodal Models (LMMs) आणि 'BharatGen' सारख्या फाऊंडेशन मॉडेल्सच्या निर्मितीवर लक्ष केंद्रित करते. हे मॉडेल्स भारताच्या बहुभाषिक संस्कृतीनुसार (मराठीसह) तयार केले जात आहेत.

​३. इंडिया एआय डेटासेट प्लॅटफॉर्म (AI Kosh) ​एआयला प्रशिक्षित करण्यासाठी डेटाची गरज असते. 'एआय कोश' द्वारे केंद्र सरकार स्टार्टअप्सना उच्च दर्जाचा, निनावी (Anonymized) आणि सुरक्षित डेटा उपलब्ध करून देत आहे. यात २० हून अधिक क्षेत्रांतील ७,००० पेक्षा जास्त डेटासेट्सचा समावेश आहे.

​४. ॲप्लिकेशन डेव्हलपमेंट इनिशिएटिव्ह (Application Development) ​भारतापुढील विशिष्ट आव्हाने सोडवण्यासाठी एआयचा वापर करणे हे याचे मुख्य उद्दिष्ट आहे. ​क्षेत्रे: आरोग्य सेवा, शेती (उदा. Bharat-VISTAAR), सायबर सुरक्षा आणि सुशासन. ​संधी: मंत्रालयांसोबत मिळून हॅकाथॉन आयोजित केल्या जातात आणि यशस्वी एआय सोल्युशन्सना १ कोटी रुपयांपर्यंतचे कंत्राट दिले जाते.

५. फ्युचर स्किल्स (FutureSkills) ​केवळ तंत्रज्ञान असून चालत नाही, तर ते चालवणारे कुशल मनुष्यबळ हवे. ​टियर-२ आणि टियर-३ शहरांमध्ये एआय लॅब्स उभारणे. ​५,००० हून अधिक पदव्युत्तर आणि ८,००० पदवीधर विद्यार्थ्यांना एआय प्रशिक्षणासाठी मदत करणे.

​६. स्टार्टअप फायनान्सिंग (Startup Financing) ​'डीप-टेक' एआय स्टार्टअप्सना भांडवल उपलब्ध करून देऊन त्यांना जागतिक स्पर्धेत टिकून राहण्यासाठी अर्थबळ दिले जात आहे.

​७. सुरक्षित आणि विश्वसनीय एआय (Safe & Trusted AI) ​एआयचा गैरवापर (उदा. Deepfakes) रोखण्यासाठी कायदेशीर चौकट आणि तांत्रिक साधने विकसित करणे. हे भारताच्या 'डिजिटल सार्वभौमत्वासाठी' अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे आहे.

​स्वावलंबनासाठी (Sovereign AI) हे का महत्त्वाचे आहे?

​डेटा सुरक्षा: भारतीयांचा डेटा भारताबाहेर जाण्यापासून रोखणे. ​परकीय अवलंबित्व कमी करणे: गुगल, मायक्रोसॉफ्ट किंवा ओपनएआय सारख्या कंपन्यांवर अवलंबून न राहता स्वतःचे 'देसी एआय' तयार करणे. ​भाषेचा अडथळा दूर करणे: इंग्रजी न येणाऱ्या सामान्य माणसालाही मराठीत एआयचा वापर करून प्रगती साधता येईल.
