Care becomes meaningful when it reaches people where they are. 🌿
At Dandekar Bridge, Pune, Healing Hands Foundation, in collaboration with Vriddha Mitra, organised a free health awareness and consultation camp focused on conditions such as #Piles, #Fissure, #Fistula, #ChronicConstipation, #PilonidalSinus, along with #Hernia and #VaricoseVeins.
Held inside Ganesh Mandir, opposite Ramkrishna Math, the camp provided a comfortable space for community members to seek guidance on health concerns that are often neglected or misunderstood.
A total of 45 individuals benefitted through consultations, counselling, and medical guidance, taking an important step toward early diagnosis and timely care.
The consultations were led by Dr. Shrikrishna Arsule, while Tejashree Khalate provided counselling support. The initiative was further strengthened by Anita Said, Anand Misal, and Avi Sharma (Intern), Ujjwala Khalate and Sheetal Bhosale, who ensured smooth coordination and patient assistance throughout the camp.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Vriddha Mitra team — Neeta Tikone, Kiran More, and Meera Paigude, for their dedicated community outreach and collaboration in making this initiative possible.
Inspired by the vision of Dr Ashwin Porwal (President) and Dr. Snehal Porwal (Secretary), and guided by the continued efforts of Mrs. Madhura Bhate (NGO Coordinator) and Dr. Nilesh Ahirrao (Program Manager), Healing Hands Foundation remains committed to ensuring that specialised anorectal healthcare reaches every community that needs it.
Because better health begins when people have the opportunity to ask questions, seek answers, and access the care they deserve. 💚
