Why Saraya was told to come to Payback? She wasn't too sure considering she was still yet to be told if she was going to return, only to be here just in case. What was ‘just in case’ anyways? The question continued to run through her head as she walked the halls of the arena, paying little to no attention of her surroundings. Her mind in a trance, her body begging to be placed back into that ring already. But just as fast as she found herself entering it, she was quick to leave it as she found herself bumping into another, a man who carried a championship actually. “Oh god, I’m so sorry.” Saraya was quick to say in a frantic tone. “I, uhh... I wasn’t really looking where I was going.”

“are you gonna say something or are you just gonna stare?” 

when she began feeling his eyes on her wasn’t something she was certain of, but the longer it lasted, the more fidgety she got. she was used to this kind of attention, of course, but having it delivered by the world champion was different, though she couldn’t begin to say why. 

heels clicked on the floor as she stood up from her seat, hands instinctively falling to pull down the skirt of her dress, with her phone still clutched in her hand. glancing back over at the younger man and sunglasses being raised to the top of her head, nicole simply cocked her head and stared right back at him.

aj stared at him, a blank look on her face as she sat on the crate, elbows on her knees and chin in her hands. everything from the fading blonde patch to the skin-tight outfit to the gold belt around his shoulder suddenly seemed painfully interesting to her----probably because she had nothing else to do backstage anymore. she wasn’t even sure why she was there that night, but there was no changing the fact that she was in a room, alone, with the world champion. 

“...so....how’s your life?”
