a Confucian legacy by Ee Shawn Via Flickr: The Nanjing Fuzimiao is a Confucius Temple and also a popular tourist destination. The current buildings date back to the 19th century, although the site and area have been a place for the study of Confucianism since the 4th century during the Jin Dynasty. Today, this is one of the most well-known Confucian Temples in China. His teachings and philosophies have formed the basis of a large part of East Asian culture and Confucianism remains influential even today. While his teachings are generally argued to be secular, they are often followed and worshipped religiously. Visitors to the temple pray for good fortune, wealth, or often good grades.
Zifeng Tower Formerly Nanjing Greenland Financial Center, is a 450-meter supertall skyscraper in Nanjing, Jiangsu.
