Breaking Band: Kill Surrrf
Kill Surrrf's sound - and lineup- has been ever changing through the last few years. Starting off as a rough and ready bedroom punk band they have evolved into a band oozing with Beach Boys good vibes and reverb drenched guitar pop hooks. Whoever said all bands from Scotland were "dreich"? The new direction Kill Surrrf have taken can be instantly seen in their most recent tape release I Can't Sleep For Dreaming of You. With an ethereal, dreamlike quality it's definitely worth checking out.
Already having played alongside the likes of Big Deal, PAWS and Baby Strange it cannot be long until this Glaswegian four piece gains widespread recognition. They are signed to one of Scotland's best up-coming labels, Fuzzkill Records, with noisemakers Deathcats, Shithawks and Fruit Tones as stablemates.
