Hi there. Sims 3, All EPS up to Into The Future (Save for Ambitions and World Adventures). I just installed the game onto this computer last night, so I haven't had any issues before this, but. I am currently playing with a Sim and a Plumbot in Oasis Landing. During my gameplay - when my sim returned to the home, if that helps any solution - my screen keeps flickering black, and my game is freezing. I also had an error saving. It said error 12. I have awesomemod and nraas MC and relativity.

Hello again! No, she's not athletic, but she did have a high gardening skill. I'm thinking that wouldn't be the cause of the problem, though.

I know this is a lame answer, but that sounds like it might be a bug. Have you tried resetting the sim in question? If you play with any type of mods, try taking them all out (just move them to your desktop of something) clear you cache and see if she can use a cane then? 

Has anyone else heard of elders not being able to use canes, short of having high athletics? Or know if this a common bug?

I don’t know if it’s common. Another idea that fixes a lot of weird things is to move the family out in edit town mode and back in. (or just the sim).
