Gone are the piercing blue irises and huge pupils, replaced by a slightly shifting blue-grey colour that fills his entire eye. Tommy is enraptured by it. Sure, most people would probably find it unsettling, and there’s definitely a more human part of Tommy that agrees; but to see the manifestation of his power in such a physical way is fascinating to him, delightful. or the tma au, wherein they're both avatars of a fear power, and maybe a little bit inhuman, and kind of really into it.

There is only them, this haven that they have created. Tommy tips his head forward, and the last thing he notices are Evan’s strong arms catching him before the world goes black. or the dnd au. sometimes home is the stranger who takes care of your injury, and sometimes your soul finds its missing link completely on accident.

For a brief moment, Buck thinks he might not even be breathing, chest frozen alongside every other part of his body. His skin prickles with satisfaction. He loves the feeling, the knowledge of the power he holds over Tommy in this instant. He could take out his gun and shoot him, right now, and Tommy would be too dazed to react. He'd have won, then, once and for all. or the skyfall au, with buck as bond, tommy as silva, and frankly enourmos amounts of homoerotic tension. no knowledge of the bond movies required.

The way Evan knows him, he can probably tell anyway. “Yeah?” Evan asks, carefully, but Tommy can hear the small smile in the word. “Why didn't you?” or In a universe where magic is drawn and can be used by everyone, Tommy has always wanted to learn; and Evan, who's studied magic since he was a child, is more than happy to teach him.

It's almost like a ritual, something he celebrates and relishes in, something that makes him feel like he's floating. Buck, and a box, and the realization that being who you are is worth it.

Feels like he stole a hell of a lot more than that, when he slipped out of Buck’s grasp the second time. Like he took a piece of Buck himself, and wasn't even aware of it.
