Williams unveil FW34 at Jerez Testing
With the first day of testing in Jerez well underway - earlier this morning Williams launched their 2012 car the FW34. This is the first Williams to be made under the technical team line up changes, as Sam Michael has now gone to McLaren and co-founder Patrick Head stepping away from the F1 side of the company. Mark Gillan now loads the technical side.
The FW34 also sees the Williams-Renault partnership reunion after ditching the previous Cosworth V8's engine. Rubens Barrichello has been replaced by Bruce Senna and Pastor Maldonado stays on in the second driver slot. A lot of hopes are put on the FW34 after last season's dismal display with just five points.
